Infectious Disease Specialists of NWA is the only infectious disease medical practice in the Northwest Arkansas community.

  • Evaluation of unexplained fever, pneumonia, sexually transmittable diseases, parasitic infections, endocarditis, bone and joint infections, as well as other infectious disease disorders

Infusion 

Care Therapies

We're proud to provide infusion services to patients requiring outpatient IV therapy for infections. Our infusion center is located in our Fayetteville office and offers a unique and pleasant environment for intravenous therapies. It also allows patients to receive therapy closely supervised by the physician. This ensures a quick response to any needs or therapy adjustments. 


Our therapies include anti-infectives including antibiotics, anti-fungal, and anti-viral, and total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). We also offer an extensive list of services.

  • Lab draw and lab work monitoring
  • Pharmacokinetics
  • Pharmaco-economics
  • Preparation and administration or distribution of ordered medications, supplies and equipment
  • Central line catheter maintenance and care
  • Outpatient therapy monitoring

Infusion Center Benefits


Patients are treated in our infusion center by a consistent care team, according to individualized treatment plans. Blood tests are drawn, dressings are changed, and medical evaluations are conducted by the care team and the physician. Our nurses carefully review medication therapy orders, provide educational tools regarding prescribed therapies, and address any questions or concerns that may arise during treatments. We strive to make infusion therapy convenient and comfortable, and are here when you need us!
